Martim studied film at Middlesex University in London. During the course, he chose to specialize in film directing, while keeping interest in editing, art direction and music composing. He would later graduate in 2018, with his graduation film Dessert being awarded by the audience as the best film of the year, at the then ranked 2nd university in the country for the subject [Guardian University league tables 2018].
Over the course of his tenure in London, Martim had the chance to work in many films sets with a range of experienced professionals, including art assistant work with BAFTA winning Production Designers, Production Assistant work at NFTS and videography shoots at nightclubs.
Martim is now based in Lisbon, Portugal, and has most recently been working for YourBestLife as a video editor, creating viral content and working with brands such as SkyHour, Proud, Stone Capital and Beat Culture.
